Shelter allowance is granted to any individual 54 years old and over whose revenu of low-income households that must spend too much of their budget on rent. Certain conditions apply.

This program is administered by the Société d'habitation du Québec (S.H.Q.) together in collaboration with the Ministère du Revenu du Quebec.
